Die schwarz-weiß Aufnahmen des spanischen Fotografen Veturian entstehen aus dem Dialog des Künstlers mit dem Sujet zum einen und mit seinen Modellen zum anderen. Dieses sich miteinander Auseinandersetzen bestimmt auch den Gestus seiner erotischen Fotografien. Er nutzt Schatten, um Fragen zu stellen und Licht, um Antworten zu geben, wie er selbst sagt, jedoch nicht, um den Betrachter rhetorisch zu erreichen, sondern um das Bild an sich lebendiger und intensiver zu gestalten. Dadurch geraten seine Arbeiten zu faszinierenden erotischen Episoden, voller intellektuellem Esprit, erzählerischer Eleganz und höchstem ästhetischem Geschmack - was will man mehr....

My photographic technique is: Simplicity. I use shades to create questions and lights to give answers. I keep props (objects) to the minimum as well as clothes. That way I do not date the pictures and I avoid giving away the social status of the model.
I love to photograph normal woman and unless a client asks me to use a professional model I ask my friends, family and people who I meet in bars and restaurants to pose for me. Any site is good. What I want is to find a face and a body that agrees with the image which I have in my mind. 
I use LEICA cameras for one single reason: the quality of its lenses. I use a LEICA M6 with a 35mm F/1.4 and a M4P with a 50mm F/1. Just in case, I keep in my pocket a 28mm F/2.8 and a 90mm F/2. But at the end of the day I try to use only the 50mm as it gives me the best combination between proportion and definition of the image. 
The good thing about using Leica ìMî series is that is not "an aggressive" camera and is ideal for erÛtica photography because it is small and quiet and it allows me to use very slow shutter speeds with no need to use flash light which is so unsexy. With this camera cobination my models don¥t feel like we are really taking pictures and I can catch the photos that I want.
My favorite films are Ilford 50 ASA for it¥s contrast and resolution; KODAK Tri-X 400 because it¥s personality and because I have been using it for 20 years! and FUJI 1600 because of its creamy sexy tones.
